 Border County Tuition Waiver Academic Criteria
Academic criteria necessary to qualify for the border county tuition waiver, are listed below. These criteria are not used to determine admission to the University of Memphis. These criteria are used solely to determine whether a student qualifies for the border county tuition waiver.
Undergraduate Applicant Academic Criteria

Freshmen students must present a minimum ACT composite score of 20 (or SAT equivalent) AND a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.75.

Transfer students must present evidence of a minimum of 15 attempted semester hours with a minimum GPA of 2.50.

NOTE: Transfer students with less than 15 attempted hours must meet the freshmen criteria.

NOTE: Admitted graduate students are not required to meet any additional academic criteria.
